Together UM

2024 Faculty and Staff Giving Campaign

This year, we’re focusing on the impact that faculty and staff contributions have on shaping the University of Montevallo’s future. Your support plays a large role in driving progress, innovation, and success for students and UM as a whole. Without you, our university loses the sense of purpose and forward-looking vision that is crucial in empowering the next generation and achieving our goals.

Faculty and staff contributions have the power to spark significant positive change within the University. Your support can energize and amplify the University’s efforts, creating a ripple effect that benefits students, programs, and the broader community. Faculty and Staff giving also plays a major role in ensuring UM’s success by:

  • Financially supporting a specific cause or area at UM that is most important to YOU!
  • Influencing large gifts and grants from donors, corporations, and foundations – all of which take into consideration employee giving rates when determining their gift.
  • Helping with national rankings, which attracts experienced faculty, staff and more highly driven students.

From October 1 to December 31, all faculty and staff are invited to participate in the 2024 Faculty and Staff Giving Campaign competition. The division or college with the highest participation rate will be rewarded with a celebratory luncheon on January 22. Additionally, an anonymous donor has agreed to donate $500 to the Foundation account of the department with the highest participation rate (please see below for breakdown of divisions).

How to participate:
This is your opportunity to make a difference in the future of the University. Please consider making a one-time or monthly recurring gift to the fund of your choice below.
