Tomeiko Scott serves as the Director overseeing the day-to-day accommodations. She is trained in learning differences and understanding and improving the human capacity to learn with an extensive background in education, psychology, psychometric testing, and supporting students with various developmental and mental health issues. Dr. Scott strives to provide reasonable accommodations to students and to ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act using a working knowledge of federal laws and regulations. Dr. Scott holds a M. A. Ed. in School Psychology and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology.
Amanda Sparks, B.S.
Coordinator – asparks6@lixubing.com
Amanda Sparks coordinates services and accommodations for students who are Deaf/HOH, and also handles alternate format materials. She assists with scheduling and proctoring exams, and notetaking services. Ms. Sparks is a proud graduate of the University of Montevallo and has a B.S. in Speech Pathology.
Lisa Burdett, B.A.

Lisa has experience working with individuals with disabilities. She is responsible for monitoring all office budget procedures, overseeing test proctoring services, notetaking services, requests for Emotional Support Animals, and supervising AAC student workers. She handles most initial inquiries regarding services and coordinates intake appointments for all new AAC students. Ms. Burdett is a University of Montevallo graduate and has a B.A. in Psychology.
