- Elsie Archer Jones Scholarship
Amount varies. Deadline: March 1. Available to a full-time junior or senior majoring in early childhood, elementary or secondary education. TEP admission required.
- Geraldine M. Chase Memorial Scholarship
Amount varies. Deadline: March 1. Elementary major interns.
- Jeanetta Corbett Keller Scholarship
Amount varies. Deadline: March 1. Available to a sophomore, junior or senior full-time student majoring in early childhood or elementary education or a student seeking teacher certification.
- Leon K. and Cora Tate Clemons Scholarship
Amount varies. Deadline: March 1. Available to sophomores, juniors and seniors in teacher education. TEP admission required.
- Lulu Rainer Palmer Memorial Scholarship
Amount varies. Deadline: March 1. Available to a junior or senior majoring in elementary or early childhood education who is on schedule for teaching internship or senior internship during year of award. Minimum 3.25 GPA.
- Mabel Caley Kelly Carlton Scholarship
Amount varies. Deadline: March 1. Available to a student in early childhood or elementary education with financial need. TEP admission required.
- Margaret Saxon Scarborough

- Mary Catherine Jones Winslett Memorial Scholarship
Amount varies. Deadline: March 1. Available to entering freshmen graduating from Calera High School. Preference: Math major.
- Mildred Mason Cook Scholarship
Amount varies. Deadline: March 1. Available to a student in elementary education with financial need. TEP admission required.
- Rachel Brown Fowler Scholarship
Amount varies. Deadline: March 1. Available to an education student during their internship semester. Minority Educator Scholarships are awarded through the Dean’s Office in the College of Education and Human Development.
- Minority Educators Scholarship Program
Amount varies. Deadline: March 1 (undergraduate students), August 1 (graduate students). Available to minority students pursuing teaching and instructional leadership careers. Minimum ACT score of 20 or SAT score of 950. Minimum GPA of 2.50 earned in high school or 2.75 in college work. - Deegee Downs Schroeder Endowed Scholarship
The Deegee Downs Schroeder Scholarship is established in the memory of Deegee Downs Schroeder by her family. The recipient must have attended Calera High School. Preference given to Elementary Education Majors with a secondary preference to Education Majors. The scholarship is renewable for four years. The student must be in good academic standing. The scholarship will be awarded by the Department of Education and Human Development during the fall and/or spring semester.
- Elaine Baird Smith Elementary Education Endowed Scholarship
Recipient must be majoring in Elementary Education, demonstrate financial need and be Pell Grant eligible. Must be resident of State of Alabama. The scholarship will be awarded by the Department of Education and Human Development.
