The Bachelor of Science degree is one of our liberal arts degrees with a 43-credit-hour major in art and the opportunity to explore other disciplines as minors, second majors, or general electives.
This is a studio major with a range of foundations and advanced classes in studio and art history. In addition to the core academic classes that all undergraduates take, the B.S. degree requires additional classes in math and science.
Graduates with a B.S. in Art are qualified to pursue careers in art and art-related fields and graduate study in art and art education (students interested in graduate art history study should consider the B.A. in Art for its foreign language component).
