The Bachelor of Fine Arts degree is our professional degree for students who wish to pursue careers in art as practicing artists, designers, photographers, and teachers.
The B.F.A. in Art is a 79-credit-hour major providing a breadth of experience in studio and art history with the opportunity to study in depth in the following concentrations: ceramics, drawing, graphic design, new media, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture.
This major also includes three professional practice seminars culminating with a senior-year B.F.A. exhibition, as well as final portfolio classes and internship opportunities.
