Executive Subcommitee
The Executive subcommittee of the Technology Advisory Council (TAC) coordinates and oversees the TAC meetings, agendas, and communications from TAC subcommittee recommendations and suggestions to Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the promotion of IS&T initiatives, prioritization of support staff, training and access to computer resources, communications, laboratories and IS&T security procedures where appropriate. Committee membership shall include the TAC Co-Chairs and the TAC Secretary. Responsibilities of this subcommittee include the following:
- Coordinates TAC meetings by developing meeting agendas and communications
- Develop and archive TAC meeting minutes while serving as content owner for TAC webpage updates and management
- Communicate TAC recommendations with the CIO for TAC subcommittee recommendations as they pertain to use of IS&T resources, technology policy and procedure development, and infrastructure systems to further promote the Strategic Plan for the University of Montevallo.
- Communicate CIO recommendations and development of technology changes, system implementations, and current security procedures and compliance requirements
